Playwright, novelist, journalist, revolutionary democrat, a remarkable personality in German literature, an author ahead of his time,al this sums up Georg Büchner (1813 – 1837). However, this remarkable author however was only fully discovered by modern theatre. The deducted revolutionary charge of his works, progressive thinking, his existential interest in the theme of social justice with the historical process in tow. Büchner captured the irony and tragedy of World in an austere, but figurative language. And in a very short time managed to create an essential work. Büchner was only twenty years old when in 1834 he founded the illegal revolutionary Association for Human Rights organization in Giessen and wrote one of the most revolutionary German texts of all time for it. Peace to the shacks! War on the palaces! (The Hessian Courier) lead to him to arrest, persecution and escape. The text truly surprised. No big words, depreciated 40 years after the Great French Revolution, only specific numbers, names and examples. And yet a riveting testimony, a clear radicalism and disclosure of the whole mechanism of power, politics and government. Before the Great French Revolution social shears splayed too wide. And history has a habit of repeating itself.
