Tatum Shoptaugh

First soloist
She graduated from The Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2013. She then graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Strategic Intelligence at Liberty University, VA in 2018.
 
In 2013 she joined the Ballet of the Slovak National Theatre in 2013 and, in 2016, she was promoted to soloist. Since 2020 she is principal soloist.
 
Her repertory with the Ballet of the Slovak National Theatre includes principal and solo roles such as Odette/Odile (Swan Lake, ch. R. Avnikjan after M. Petipa, L. Ivanov), Masha (The Nutcracker, ch. R. Avnikian, J. Dolinský), Giselle, Myrtha (Giselle, ch. R. Avnikian after J. Perrot, J. Coralli), Medora, Odalisque (Le Corsaire, ch. V. Medvedev after M. Petipa), Kitri (Don Quixote, ch. V. Medvedev after M. Petipa), Diana (La Esmeralda, ch. V. Medvedev), Gamzatti (La Bayadère, ch. R. Avnikian after M. Petipa), Oona Chaplin (Chaplin, The Tramp – Homage to the Prodigy, ch. D. de Andrade), Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ch. Y. Vámos), pas de trios, tarantella solo (Swan Lake, ch. R. Avnikian after M. Petipa, L.
