Viktória Šimončíková

She studied at the Conservatory in Košice (1987 – 1991), the Dance Conservatory in Prague (1991 – 1993) and the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam (1993 – 1994). In 2003 she received master’s degree at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and, in 2013, she completed postgraduate studies as doctor artis.
 
From 1994 to 1995 she was member of the Ballet of the National Theatre in Prague; in 1995 she of the Ballet Torso in Bratislava; and, from 1995 to 1997, she was a soloist at the Ballet at the State Theatre in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Since 1998 she is with the SND Ballet. In 2001 she was promoted to soloist.
