The Slovak National Theatre Opera, in co-production with the world-famous Bregenz Festival, presents the Slovak première of the opera Impresario Dotcom by Ľubica Čekovská, a contemporary and lively tribute to the serious four-hundred-year-old operatic genre. The libretto was freely adapted from the play by Carlo Goldoni - The Impresario from Smyrna, by Laura Olivi. In a brilliant and modern story, the singers, performing under the names of their characters from various operas (Orfeo, Olympia, Carmen, Violetta and Tamino) and an opera lover compete for a role at the Impresario Dotcom theatre.
