The exhibition, created to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Ella Fuchsová-Lehotská's birth, honours this significant figure in Slovak ballet. She played a key role in the growth and professionalisation of the Slovak National Theatre Ballet. As a dancer, choreographer, dance master, and teacher, she was the first woman to lead the Slovak National Theatre Ballet. Lehotská-Fuchsová trained the initial generation of Slovak dancers at her private academy. The exhibition features archival materials over a century old — photographs and posters showing her in productions by the Slovak National Theatre Ballet, choreographed by Achille Viscusi, as well as studio photographs with her frequent dance partner Viktor Jassik, capturing her expressive facial features and wide interpretive range across various dance styles and techniques.
