Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s classical ballet Swan Lake is undoubtedly the best-known work in the international ballet repertoire, as well as the most frequently performed ballet on the Slovak stage. The SND Ballet presents this iconic work in Rudolf Nureyev’s celebrated version, which entered the Guinness Book of Records thanks to the seemingly endless applause at its première. This classical ballet about a swan princess will enchant audiences with the exquisite dances of the swans, grand ensemble scenes and dazzling pas de deux that showcase demanding dance technique. Equally captivating are the magnificent sets and costumes by the internationally acclaimed designer Jordi Roig.
