Tereza Kopecká

She studied art history at Charles University and costume and mask design at DAMU in Prague. She completed a one-year study internship in Italy at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan.
 
In 2012-2013 she participated in artist residencies at the Watermill Center in New York under the direction of Robert Wilson and at the Theatertreffen Internationales Forum in Berlin.
 
As a costume designer she collaborated with the director Sláva Daubnerová at the National Theatre in Prague for Ariadne auf Naxos opera. For the Farm in the Cave, she designed the costumes for the titles Sanctuary and Forever Together in the theatre space of the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague. She collaborated with the director Jiří Havelka on SND productions No Show Tonight, Elites, and The County Remembers at the Slovak Chamber Theatre in Martin, and with the director Veronika Poldauf Riedlbauchová, she collaborated on the operas Nabucco and La Traviata for the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, with the Prague stage called Studio Hrdinů and with the designer Michal Pěchouček on the productions Appearances are Deceptive and Marbot, with the Theatre of Comedy in Prague on the production of Roberto Zucco, and on many other projects.
 
She collaborated with the director Eva Schubert in Berlin: Golden Matters at Ballhaus Ost Berlin and collaborated with Hungarian director Gábor Hollos on Tartuffe at the National Theatre in Szeged, Hungary.
 
She has designed costumes for several feature films: Mr. & Mrs. Stodola, The Boundaries of Love, Dumb Secrets, Domestique and others.
