Classical ballet by Peter I. Tchaikovsky's The Swan Lake is undeniably the most famous ballet title of the world repertoire and the most frequently performed ballet title on the domestic stage. After a number of traditional and also not-so-traditional productions, the repertoire of the Slovak National Theatre Ballet will be complemented by Rudolf Nureyev's famous version. The show entered the Guinness Book of World Records thanks to the seemingly endless applause on the opening night. The iconic swan dances, grand choral scenes and dazzling pas de deux are a dazzling showcase of challenging dance techniques. The spectacular new stage and costume design for the tale of the Swan Princess has been created by the sought-after designer Jordi Roig.

The choreography by Rudolf Nureyev is presented courtesy of Editions Mario Bois - BMB Publishing France and Noureev Fondation. The work is presented with the permission of Bärenreiter Verlag, exclusively represented by Alkor-Edition Kassel GmbH and Bärenreiter Praha s.r.o.

The production is suitable for audiences aged 15 and over.
