The new SND building, Opera and Ballet hall
Art for Life - the ballet gala concert offers a dazzling interpretive mastery of ballet soloists from prestigious companies, a variety of genres and styles, and a diversity of choreographic inventiveness - all in one evening. The SND Ballet will host this exceptional event for the tenth time, which, in addition to the experience of dance mastery, also brings an urgent message. Based on the philosophy that art heals, the First Ballet presents a unique, style-rich ballet program. The main idea of the event is to educate and support the fight against cancer. It is an artistic expression of empathy for cancer patients and a symbolic gratitude to the medical staff.
The Art for Life Gala Concert was initiated by the National Cancer Institute in Bratislava, in cooperation with which the event has been organised ever since.
