The new SND building, SND Opera Chamber
The programme of the 4th concert of the students of the Opera Studio of the Slovak National Theatre is composed of well-known arias from the Italian bel canto period: Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, and Verdi.
The concert was preceded by masterclasses with the conductor Enrico Dovico, one of the respected authorities in the field of Italian opera interpretation. Under his expert guidance, the young singers not only pursued a complex musical analysis and artistic understanding of the selected works but also discovered new possibilities for their interpretation, each according to his or her own abilities, vocal disposition, and personality disposition.
