Romana Maliti
Romana Maliti (1977) graduated in theatre studies from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and ethnology from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Bratislava. From 2001 to 2009, she worked as a professional editor and project manager at the Theatre Institute, as a drama programmer at Studio 12 Theatre, and at the Festival of Contemporary Drama New Drama. In 2009 and 2010, she worked on the project Košice - European Capital of Culture 2013. She is also engaged in the artistic translation of contemporary Russian drama (O. Muchinova, I. Vyrypaev, J. Klavdiyev). Occasionally, she performs as an actress in Studio 12, SkRAT Theatre (Napichovači a lízači [Prickers and Lickers]) and Ystfud Theatre (Exyt: Víchod [Exit: East]). She publishes reviews in the specialised monthly magazine Code - specifically about theatre. Since 2001, she has been working as a dramaturge and, since 2010, as a project manager for the International Theatre Nitra Festival.
