Branislav Bystriansky was born in Bratislava. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in 1995 and has been a member of the Drama Department of the Slovak National Theatre since that year. He has performed in many theatre productions there. He has also been a visiting artist at other Slovak theatres - at the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra, the New Stage Theatre, the West Theatre and the Aréna Theatre. He has acted in television productions, films and TV series.
