Daniel Majling was born in Revúca. He graduated in theatre dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts, where he currently works as a lecturer. After completing his studies, he worked for ten years as an in-house dramaturge at the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra. Since 2014, he has held the position of dramaturge at the SND Drama Theatre. He actively engages in adaptations of contemporary and classical world and domestic literature for theatre performances. He is also active in the field of literary creation. In 2015, he debuted with the comics Rudo, published by the Czech publishing house Labyrint; later, it was also published as an expanded Slovak edition. He is also the author of the book Ruzka Klazika, the comic novel The Zone, and the comic book Kidnapped.
