Anna Javorková

Actresses
Anna Javorková was born in Ružomberok. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in 1975. However, she first appeared at the Slovak National Theatre in 1970 in the production of Viťúzi, as Margitka. She continued to perform as a guest actress during her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts, and has been engaged as a member of the drama ensemble since 1974.
However, she has also been a guest in several Slovak professional theatres such as ASTORKA Korzo '90, Aréna, West, Divadlo a.ha., Jan Palárik Theatre in Trnava, Small Stage of STU, P. O. Hviezdoslav Municipal Theatre and the State Theatre of Košice. In addition to the theatre, however, she is also active as a film actress; she has appeared in more than fifty films and television movies. He teaches stage speech and artistic performance at the Church Conservatory in Bratislava.

2009 - Literary Fund Award for the character of Greta Garbo
2011 - Annual Award of the Literary Fund for characters portrayed in theatre productions
2012 - The Slovak Identification Code Award
2013 - award for the best female actor in the theatre season for the role of Clytaiméstra in the production of Aeschylus' play Oresteia
2017 – Literary Fund Award for a Lifetime Achievement in the category of theatre
