Dominika Kavaschová was born in Košice. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in 2013.

However, she first appeared at the Slovak National Theatre in 2009, in the production The Dance of the Toreadors. She continued to perform as a guest actress during her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts, and has been engaged as a member of the drama ensemble since 2014.

Already during and after her studies, however, she has been a guest performer in several Slovak professional theatres such as ASTORKA Korzo '90, Aréna, Studio 12, P. O. Hviezdoslav Municipal Theatre, GUnaGU Theatre and Studio L + S. Apart from theatre, she is also active as a TV series actress. She has acted in many TV films and holds quite a few awards.

 

2013 – DOSKY Award for the discovery of the season in the production Smokers and Saviours for the character of Máša

2015 – Best Actress in the 2014/2015 season

2019 – OTO, The Actress of the Year
