Diana Mórová was born in Bratislava. While studying acting at the Academy of Performing Arts, she was a guest at the SND Drama Theatre in the productions A Flea in Her Ear, Just Another Cup of Tea, and The Real Thing. After graduating in 1992, she became a member of the SND Drama Theatre and has worked there ever since. Here, she has played the main characters in seven of the plays by W. Shakespeare and in dozens of other productions. In 2004, she was a guest at the National Theatre in Prague in the production of The Persecution and Passion of Dr. Šalda - it was her first collaboration with director Michal Dočekal. She is one of the most popular and active actresses in Slovakia. She has acted in many television productions and series.
Awards:
1996 - DOSKY Award for Best Performance by an Actor of the Season - it was the first ever awarding of these prizes, and she won the prize for the role of Rosalinda in the production of W. Shakespeare's As You Like It
2009 - OTO Award as the Actress of the Year and the Crystal Wing Award in the Theatre and Audiovisual Arts category.
2012 - OTO Award as an actress in a drama series/genre
2015 - Literary Fund Award for the character of Eve in the production of The Shepherd's Wife
2019 - Annual Prize of the Literary Fund in the theatre section
2020 - Literary Fund Award for Acting - portrayal of Cleopatra in the production of William Shakespeare's play Antony and Cleopatra, with consideration of the character Mimi in the production of J. C. Grumberg's play The Workroom [L'Atelier] and the character of Hanka Čajková in the production of Ľubomír Feldek's play Horror in the Forest Lodge
