Milan Ondrík was born in Dolný Kubín. After graduating from the Academy of Performing Arts, he was a long-time member of the artistic ensemble DAB in Nitra, and later, he was also a guest performer there. His performance impressed and attracted the attention of the Slovenian director Diego de Brea when he was looking for a representative of Coriolanus for the production of William Shakespeare's play of the same name at the Slovak National Theatre. Since 2011, he has been a member of the artistic ensemble of the SND Drama Theatre. He has performed everything from Russian classics to Slovak pieces to contemporary world drama during his acting career. However, he also gained popularity thanks to his films and TV series appearances. He also performs in the street theatre group Teatro Tatro.

2011 - Tatra Banka Foundation Award for Art - Young Creator - the character of Coriolanus in the theatre production of the same name
2014 - Literary Fund Award for the character of Baron Lajos, taking into account Marián from the production Midnight Mass, Mámil from the production Labyrinths and Paradises of Ján Ámos, and the character of the Unknown from The Bride of the Mountains.
2016 - The Sun in the Net for the best performance by a male actor in the film Eva Nová
2016 - Tatra Banka Foundation Award for Art - acting performance, production Rivers of Babylon - the character of Rácz
2019 - IFF Karlovy Vary Award for the Best Actor in a drama Let There Be Light
2019 - annual Prize of the Literary Fund
2020 - The Sun in the Net for the best performance by a male actor in the drama Let There Be Light
2020 - IGRIC Award in the male actor category in a film or television work - for the character of Milan in the film Let There Be Light.
