Ingrid Timková was born in Sečovce. After finishing her studies at the Grammar School in Trebišov, she graduated in acting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where she currently teaches in the Department of Acting. Since 1990, she has been a member of the SND Drama Theatre. Occasionally, she makes guest appearances at other theatres.
She has played many interesting characters, and apart from theatre, she has also caught attention with her acting in several films and series. In addition to acting, she is also a director - she made her debut with Sam Shepard's production Obsessed with Love.
