Roman Poláčik

Roman Poláčik was born in Trstená. He studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He was already a guest performer at the Arena Theatre, Studio 12 and the Slovak National Theatre. Another stage where he worked as a student was the DAB in Nitra in 2012, as a permanent member of the artistic ensemble. Since 2018, he has been a member of the artistic ensemble of the SND Drama Theatre. He is also a successful series and film actor.
 
Awards:
2015 - Literary Fund Award for the character of Eman Mešianý in the production of the play Gazdina Roba, with consideration for the character of Kristián in the production of Cyrano of Bergerac and the character of Lucentia in the production of The Taming of the Shrew
2017 - Literary Fund Award for the character of Karol Wojtyla in the production of the musical The Calling of the Pope, with consideration for the character of John in the production of Son or Daughter?
