Barbora Andrešičová was born in Bratislava. In 2016, she graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts with a degree in acting. Her first engagement was at the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra (2016 - 2020). Still, during her studies, she was already a guest in several professional theatres, including the Slovak National Theatre (SND), of which she has been a member since March 2020. She first appeared at the Slovak National Theatre in 2015, when she played the character of Valla in the production of The Land of Smiles. She also has experience working in television, appearing in several series. She is also active in the professional independent theatre of Peter Mankovecký.

2018 - DOSKY Award in the category of Best Actress for the character of Emma in the production of Duncan Macmillan's text People, Places, Things
2018 - Young Creator under 35 award from the Tatra Banka Foundation for the character Emma in the production People, Places and Things
2019 - Annual Prize of the Literary Fund in the theatre section
