Jana Kovalčiková was born in Prešov. After grammar school, she studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts. She has collaborated with Arena Theatre, ASTORKA Korzo '90, and GUNaGU. In 2016, she became a member of the Andrej Bagar Theatre ensemble in Nitra and, a year later, the Slovak Chamber Theatre in Martin. She made her debut at the Slovak National Theatre in 2013 in the production The Brothers Karamazov and has been a member of the company since 2020. She is known from several television series.
